Sunbeams danced in the office as a beautiful summer morning began.  The phone rang and life changed.  Her voice was different, a seriousness in the undertone of a normally cheerful greeting. Life today can be stressful and the heart longs for simpler times; recalling childhood moments of comfort and care to refresh the soul.  Last week I found myself with deadlines and distractions.  Still, rooted in gratitude I stopped to breathe, reprioritize, and finish my work then began to plan for the weekend. Dear Mother, There are no words to express the gratitude I feel for you. You were my foundation as a baby, always a safe harbor.  Growing up I may not have shown the depth of appreciation you so richly deserved.  We didn’t see eye to eye in my teenage years even beyond.  I challenged you and questioned your direction.  Still, you remained steadfast in your love.  You cried when I cried and rejoiced in my laughter as life progressed in unexpected ways. Today, with evolving maturity, I see you with new appreciation and admiration.  You could have made different choices.

Conservation and living simply remain a necessity as the population of the planet grows and resources are stretched.  We must care for one another and Mother Earth remembering that our actions have far reaching impacts for 

It is an understatement to say that the world is undergoing massive change.    Humanity is being called to reestablish a deeper sense of community and commitment to one another.  For all of us it a knowing that is reinforced every day through personal and gloabal experiences. Media channels are jammed with stories of destruction and natural catastrophes; each report continuing to feed the waves of fear.   This constant flow of negative information can become numbing if left unchecked.  Without conscious focus it dulls our sensibilities so that it is easier to ignore the plight of pain that many are experiencing 

Instant communication immediate connection, everywhere I look people are chatting on mobiles, furiously texting, or have their heads down typing on a laptop. I am guilty of it and bet you are too. Are we really communicating? Often life diverts our attention or we allow distractions to engage our focus. I find that communication starts within the quiet space of the heart center; our inner core where wisdom resides. During classes or personal session I am almost always asked: “How do I connect? How do I know what I am receiving is real?” “What crystals can help me with communication?” 

Love is in the air as the calendar has turned to Cupid’s month. Valentine’s Day the holiday dedicated to romance; celebrated with roses, chocolate and champagne is fast approaching.  Whether just embarking on the journey of young love or content in the joys of a long-lasting relationship Valentine Day marks a special celebration and honors the essence of all love.  This happy energy overflows and from eight to eighty everyone enjoys the display of sweet remembrances.
