“What’s the use of a fine house if you haven’t got a tolerable planet to put it on?” asked Henry Thoreau, father of the contemporary environmentalism.    The the world was losing water ways, forests and green meadows to modernization and technologies when he wrote those words.  Now almost a hundred and fifty years later some issues haunt humankind in the quest to modernize. Conservation and living simply remain a necessity as the population of the planet grows and resources are stretched.  We must care for one another and Mother Earth remembering that our actions have far reaching impacts for 

It is an understatement to say that the world is undergoing massive change.    Humanity is being called to reestablish a deeper sense of community and commitment to one another.  For all of us it a knowing that is reinforced every day through personal and gloabal experiences. Media channels are jammed with stories of destruction and natural catastrophes; each report continuing to feed the waves of fear.   This constant flow of negative information can become numbing if left unchecked.  Without conscious focus it dulls our sensibilities so that it is easier to ignore the plight of pain that many are experiencing 

Instant communication immediate connection, everywhere I look people are chatting on mobiles, furiously texting, or have their heads down typing on a laptop. I am guilty of it and bet you are too. Are we really communicating? Often life diverts our attention or we allow distractions to engage our focus. I find that communication starts within the quiet space of the heart center; our inner core where wisdom resides. During classes or personal session I am almost always asked: “How do I connect? How do I know what I am receiving is real?” “What crystals can help me with communication?” 

Love is in the air as the calendar has turned to Cupid’s month. Valentine’s Day the holiday dedicated to romance; celebrated with roses, chocolate and champagne is fast approaching.  Whether just embarking on the journey of young love or content in the joys of a long-lasting relationship Valentine Day marks a special celebration and honors the essence of all love.  This happy energy overflows and from eight to eighty everyone enjoys the display of sweet remembrances. Welcome to the New Year; by now you are settling into this mystical magical time of possibilities.  It’s an exciting time as the universal crystalline grids are expanding, accelerating our dynamic cosmic awakening. There is a sense that this both an ending and beginning simultaneously. The simple truth is that a new era beckons. Humankind is invited to join together in transformation. Awareness of the unity consciousness is building and hearts renew with compassion and love. This is a favorite time of year for me.  I love the sacredness of the celebrations and traditions from around the world.  I relish reconnecting with friends and family and the sense of excitement and hope.  Humanity seems to be of a gentle spirit.   Still, I seem to be extra busy.  I’ve found when we work together, simplify traditions and share responsibilities it becomes a lot more fun!  Here are 12 of my favorite tips for bringing joy to the world! When I looked at today’s schedule I paused.  How did it fill up with so many activities, commitments and appointments?  I did it J.  I found myself excited about the possibilities penciled in and still longing for a quiet day.  Sound familiar? Life is busy, filled with choices. Laughter filled the air as I walked along the beach this morning.  It was sheer joy to witness the unbridled delight of children at play. I watched as a little boy bent to pick-up a weathered stone and saw the excitement in his eyes as he shared his discovery.   In that moment on the sand this precious child reminded me how important it is to play, to enjoy every moment of life.
