Profile:

Miranda May Kerr (born 20 April 1983) was born and raised on a farm in Gunnedah, NSW Australia. She began modeling after winning the Dolly/Impulse Modelling Competition in 1997. Her win sparked significant media attention and she became the most sought after face, but she waited to begin modeling full time until she completed her high school. She then went on to study Nutrition and Health Psychology at the Academy of Natural Living before she chose modelling as her full time career. Miranda’s career has consisted of a mix of high profile runway shows, fashion and beauty shoots, as well as advertising in television print. She has appeared on the covers and inside pages of numerous magazines, including V Magazine, Vogue (USA, Australia, Japan, Russia, Korea, Spain, Italy), GQ (UK, USA, Germany), LOVE Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar (UK, Australia), Glamour, Elle (USA, Mexico, UK, Australia), Marie Claire (Australia, USA), Ocean Drive Magazine, ID (France) Numero (France) and Flare. She also appeared on the cover of “The Green Issue” of Rolling Stone. In 2007, Victoria’s Secret signed Miranda as its newest Angel. She was the first Australian model ever to appear in a Victoria’s Secret Runway Show and to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Miranda has walked in every Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since her first appearance. She constantly appears in television and advertising campaigns and is an articulate spokesperson for the line. Miranda has also graced the runways for designers such as, Balenciaga, Prada, Anna Molinari, Betsey Johnson, Rachel Roy, Trovata, Tracy Reese, Roberto Cavailli, BabyPhat, Rock & Republic, L.A.M.B., and of course Victoria’s Secret. Her campaign work includes Victoria’s Secret, Prada, Jil Sander, Maybelline, Levi’s Blumarine, Rock & Republic, Sea Folly and Clinique’s “Happy” fragrance. She is the Fashion Ambassador for the Australian Department Store David Jones. For three consecutive years (2008, 2009 & 2010) Forbes placed Miranda in the elite list of the worlds’ top ten earning models. In addition Miranda has appeared in the Pharrell and Kanye West music video “Number 1”, as well as the debut music video for the band Tamarama, “Everything to Me”. She starred as herself on a guest spot on an episode of the CBS hit show, “How I Met Your Mother” and has made press appearances on numerous talk shows around the world. Miranda's love of all things organic and natural together with her passion to make a difference and share the benefits of using organic skincare led her to develop her own organic range of skincare: KORA Organics By Miranda Kerr. KORA is currently available online on this website and through David Jones retail stores in Australia. KORA Organics is currently being expanded into other retail outlets both domestically and internationally. Miranda’s first book: “Treasure Yourself” will be released on 1st November 2010. Never one to shy away from giving back Miranda has lent her time and image to charities and cause related projects around the world such as Kids Helpline, The Art of Peace, Cancer Council, The Breast Cancer Foundation, The Australian Koala Foundation, BFA Organic Farming Project for Schools in Australia and Children International.
