Natalie Smith

Profile:

Natalie is a fully qualified Podiatrist practising in Melbourne. Natalie attended La Trobe University in Melbourne and graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry degree in 1994. After working as an associate for a number of years in a busy private practice, Natalie decided to take a lengthy sabbatical from her career and travel the world. Upon her return to Australia, Natalie decided to go back to studying and completed another degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and Cinema. Despite her love of books and films, Natalie decided that feet were actually her real passion in life! After all the travelling and extra studying, Natalie realised that she wanted to return to Podiatry in order to make a difference in people’s lives. She feels it is incredibly rewarding to be able to help people stay mobile and active and relieve their pain. Natalie believes that our ability to walk should never be something we take for granted and looking after our feet properly is often a low priority in people’s lives. Natalie returned to Podiatry in 2005 and opened her first clinic in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs in 2006. Her clinic, Multiple Choice Health, is an Allied Health clinic offering “multiple choices” in treatments, including Podiatry, Naturopathy, Remedial massage, Reflexology and iDetox foot baths. In 2009, Natalie opened her second clinic in Melbourne’s CBD. Collins West Foot Clinic is a dedicated podiatry clinic that offers general and sports podiatry treatments. Natalie is registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia. She is a full member of the Australian Podiatry Association (Vic.) and the secretary of the Private Practice Special Interest Group committee. She is also a member of Sports Medicine Australia and the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Natalie lives with her partner, Scott (The Waterman) and their ginger menace of a cat called Deckard.
