2012 Kung Hei Fat Choi-

And the year of change.

What can we expect from such a talked about year? Well…
I can remember way back in the 70′s people talking about the future possibilities of the end of the Mayan calendar and what it could all mean to the planet and mankind. That was the “dawning of the age of Aquarius”, so naturally there were many who were keen to overlay their ideas of ‘hippiedom’ onto this important relic. Still today opinions of all kinds fly about the place causing fear and upset for many in regards to the end of this cyclic time frame. There are those choosing fear that are headed to the country, and many are concerned about natural disasters and where may be the safest place to live out the rest of their lives. I see much fear and a real sense of victimhood for many dear kind souls around this auspicious year and I wonder if they are aware that the fear that they experience is also begetting more fear for themselves? Perhaps this fear could even infect friends and family and maybe even their work place or community, as they espouse stories of doom and gloom.

This year could be frightening for many as they enter it transmitting the frequency of fear as they move through their world. But what would happen if they decided to live differently? 2012 allows us all a completion of a cycle of disconnection and moving into awakening through the personal desire to WAKE UP. This personal desire is called INTENT. This intent has great transformational qualities within it, one of which is courage and another Love to name just two.

Years ago I recall saying “fear begat fear and love begat love” as a bit of a mantra for life. It became a way in which I gently filtered my world. I would ask the question “do I want more fear in my world or do I want more love?” You would think the answer would be clear wouldn’t you? But the fact was, fear had become so much a part of my world that in many cases, I inadvertently chose fear more times than I could say. I often thought I was choosing the high road of Love but what I was actually doing was pacifying the fear by sugar coating it in what seemed nicer, sweeter, kinder and seemingly loving, however the fear still was there. I now see that sometimes being FEAR-less needs a level of courage that in many cases “we” don’t actually know we have. This is where a leap of faith can be the only answer. Naturally the “intent” also has merit and therefore we honor the intention to choose love above anger, fear, resentment etc.

Today I retrospectively noticed that I wanted to be loving in most situations and for that, I pat myself on the back. “Good job Sanna for the intention of living in love, ten points for effort, girl”. However a bit of concise thought and Spirit practice goes a long way to altering “old” perhaps even “ancient” implanted thoughts.

I chose fear because I wasn’t actually aware that the story of fear and the many limitations were so hidden and masked by what I thought was my “life” that it was difficult to disseminate what was actually happening for me. I even realized that in my case my desire for humility was holding the hand of fear and thus creating outcomes that were small, limited, collapsed and yes, fearful. Regardless as to how many courses and how much Spirit work or meditation I had done I was still not completely aware of all that was there for me to explore around my fear. Thankfully my love of Love was and is, a driving force for my personal wakening; therefore I continued to move forward. I choose to not give up and to do all I can do to understand and discover as I go; courageously navigating my way though my life.

This year gives us the actual threshold to walk through into a new space. This space holds the opportunity for peaceful personal transformation. It is a vital year of ending and beginning.

2012 heralds an opportunity for waking up to the limitations that were either externally imposed on us, or worse still, self imposed.

…as I personally imposed my own limitations I lived out of fear; as I shift this negative focus, in other words ‘shine Light’ on it, there will be a shift for me and those affected by me.

So perhaps this New Year 2012 asks us to be courageous and leap into the arms of faith and beget some ‘big time’ Love in ‘our’ lives. Perhaps this year asks us to question those who were the gate keepers to our spiritual freedom, or even the external spiritual rule makers and welcome our own moral Spirit compass. Perhaps we are being asked to decide whether we CHOOSE to SHINE our limitless Light into the dark corners of our own life and the dark corners of this world and make a fearless positive shift upon this planet.

As we know ourselves to be Light, we become powerful creators. We are fully equipped to know this consciousness, as it is encoded within each and every one of us. As we live our lives in this knowledge we can be of service from this LIGHT and thus we can plant the seeds of global transformation though love.

It is essential that we decide to want love and Light, and to be creators from this point. If we as Light bearers do decide to live through our Light and Love, then we will assist in ways that will indeed beget more love and more love and more love. The curious thing that also happens from this space is we also become manifestors in and of our world. This does not occur through the egoic mind but rather the sacred heart.

This time period allows us to embrace a new way of thinking. The old ideas of control from the outside will be replaced by the deep, rich acceptance that each and every one of us must choose to know and live out our lives through the knowledge that we are love and Light and also powerful creators. This knowing is the magic and the key to long lasting Joy and peace for the soul that has experienced it and for the many souls who too live in this understanding. Through this there is a soft revolution of harmony and unity that is like a small trickling stream; eventually it will create great change and through time maybe become an ocean.
