It is an understatement to say that the world is undergoing massive change. Humanity is being called to reestablish a deeper sense of community and commitment to one another. For all of us it a knowing that is reinforced every day through personal and gloabal experiences.
Media channels are jammed with stories of destruction and natural catastrophes; each report continuing to feed the waves of fear. This constant flow of negative information can become numbing if left unchecked. Without conscious focus it dulls our sensibilities so that it is easier to ignore the plight of pain that many are experiencing than focus on living a heart-centered life and compassion.
We must stand united; willing to help one another through the pangs of global change. Evolution requires reinvention; expansion in our thinking and compassion as we innovate and sustain positive shifts. Standing on the precipice of darkness or renaissance our thoughts and actions have direct impact on our well-being and that of the world.
The human spirit thrives even in the midst of tragedy. All around us there are unmistakable beacons of hope. Individuals who act with gentle grace and courage; they are the unexpected heroes who lead the way. Look into the eyes of a child and you’ll find undiscovered possibilities and optimism. The gentle kindness of a stranger can renew faith in humanity.
