Instant communication immediate connection, everywhere I look people are chatting on mobiles, furiously texting, or have their heads down typing on a laptop.
I am guilty of it and bet you are too. Are we really communicating? Often life diverts our attention or we allow distractions to engage our focus. I find that communication starts within the quiet space of the heart center; our inner core where wisdom resides.
During classes or personal session I am almost always asked: “How do I connect? How do I know what I am receiving is real?” “What crystals can help me with communication?”
First, find a method of connection which serves to soothe your soul. Reflective contemplation, chanting, walking a labyrinth or running are a few favorite techniques. You’ll discover your rhythm and the sweet peacefulness that comes from building a deeper connection to Source.
“Are the thoughts, messages, and answers to my question real?” If ego is engaged the messages received are often harsh or unkind. Yet, ego has a place; acknowledge the gift of survival that it brings, then ask ego to step aside and continue your practice. You’ll find your true inner voice. It directs right action; not always the simple or easy path to follow. Trust in your ability to “Know” what your truth.
Nature provides numerous gifts to support the quest of clarity. There is nothing like a brisk walk outdoors to clear the mind or the quiet rhythm of the ocean to soothe the soul.
