I admit it. When I first began using KORA Organics I was not, shall we say, a “big mist user,” or rather, a big “mister,” if you know what I mean.
I thought of a mist as just something that went between the cleanser and the moisturiser to close the pores. That’s it. Largely unnecessary if you don’t have the funds available. Only moderately useful if you do. The one step in a three step system that I would probably cut out if I were in a hurry.
And to be honest, for any other product line, I still stand by that assessment. But not for KORA Organics mists, not anymore. After learning what I have learned, I use the KORA Organics mists as though my skin depends on it.
I believe the eyes are the highlight of any face.
To me, the color doesn’t matter so much… it’s what the eyes reveal about one’s state of being that I believe makes them attractive (or sometimes, not so attractive) to others.
Miranda Kerr Everyday Must-Have-In-Your-Purse Items
My friend Miranda has taught me many things. One of those is that beautiful skin isn’t just about the skin on your face… it’s about the skin over your entire body, and keeping it all healthy and moisturised is an all-day task, every day.
This doesn’t make it an arduous task though. In fact, it’s quite the opposite: Taking care of your skin is a beautiful, sensual experience of self-love, and of loving and caring for your body.
I’m often asked how I incorporate my favourite KORA Organics products into my morning beauty routine. I usually have very little time in the mornings, especially with a toddler, so with these simple skin and beauty steps I can get out the door in 15 minutes.
Skincare isn’t just about the products you apply, so I have also shared some other steps that my skin really benefits from, and I recommend you try them too.
When I was in my early twenties I was broke. Like many young people, I had just graduated from college with a lot of debt and taken a job with great opportunity for advancement but not a lot of pay.
I found I didn’t have a lot of spare cash for entertainment and so I needed an inexpensive hobby. This was when I started surfing. I bought a great used surfboard and got up early most mornings for 6 am roll call at the beach, and took off a lot a lunch to surf as well (this was the early 2000’s, I worked in a software development company in Santa Barbara, and taking a “surf lunch” was not unusual. Neither was it weird for me to bring my surfboard into the office! Ah, the good ol’ days).
One of the things that I love about KORA Organics is that Miranda has always recognized that there is so much more to healthy, beautiful skin than just using the right product. Of course, that is fundamental to good skin health – but there is more to it than that, and she knows that as well as I do.
