Sometimes, being ‘negative’ is a good thing..

Flower

In today’s ever-connected world, we are constantly exposed to electro-magnetic frequencies (EMF’s). Our Smart Phones, computers, laptops, tablets … we rarely escape the frequencies that bounce of these devices. Even when we’re sleeping, we’re often exposed to them. I am one of those people who sleep with their iPhone right next to my bed. Are you? These EMF’s produce positive ions, or molecules that have an electron deficiency. Aside from technology, other things that produce positive ions are our hairdryers, heating units, closed rooms, dust, car exhausts, emissions from furniture, televisions, lighting, electric blankets, manmade fabrics, aerosols and microwave ovens.

What should I do following a chiropractic adjustment?

back

What you do after a chiropractic visit is very important. This is the time when your body reacts and responds to the care that was provided. Even though the visit to a chiropractor may only take a few minutes, what happens many hours after the actual adjustment is profound. Throughout the day, we stress our minds and bodies in many different ways. This is usually what leads us to need a chiropractic adjustment in the first place. I tell all of my patients that whatever they do outside of the walls of the clinic has a huge impact on how

Art and Fashion – Inspiring Concept

colour

Fashion and science seem worlds apart. Science has played a huge part in the progression of human life – we live in a world of invention. Can tea help the symptoms of PMS?

tea

It’s no secret that here at TOM we are massive tea drinkers. Our office is dotted with teas from all over the world and it’s become a bit of a never-ending quest for us to find the perfect tea for that time of month. The ritual of tea-drinking itself helps us to relax, but the ingredients in this particular tea go one step further. Raspberry leaf contains ferulic acid, which helps to relax the uterus and relieve cramping. Ginger is a well-know tummy soother. Chamomile helps us relax and get a good night sleep and there are suggestions that rosemary

99377839

By Cheri Keeler First, it is great to be back writing here on this special blog site that Miranda has created and also start off by wishing her a very Happy Birthday, Miranda!!!!! The last article I wrote about was the 4th chakra and I will return to the chakras and complete the introduction to them. This week I want to share something that I have been experiencing that indirectly has to do with the 5th chakra (since the mouth and voice are linked to the 5th chakra). Several years ago my dentist alerted me that my gums are receding.

How to use three of the worlds most ancient and powerful Superfoods

gubinge1

Here at Loving Earth we regularly get asked by our customers what exactly Superfoods are and how we should best use them. As most of us know there are many potential benefits to our health and wellbeing by supplementing our diets with functional or so-called “Superfoods”. Where to Find (and purchase) Eco-Fashion Online

green-hot fashion

Eco-fashion or ‘sustainable fashion’ is well, pretty fashionable right now and rightly so. It can be a somewhat ambiguous term, so if you want the low-down on what it stands for, you can find it here; (http://www.reneenaturally.com/blog/green-hot-fashion). In all fairness though, unless you know where to hunt for trendy threads that align with your ethos, you can end up on a fruitless fashion forage. While there are loads of admirable (read: lust-worthy) solo brands I could list, I’ve scrawled the internet and compiled a list of one-stop-shops where multiple eco collections are featured…making it easier for the likes of you

Tea Time

Ellie Tea Time

When we think about tea, many of us imagine freshly brewed black tea in a daintily matching china cup and saucer, being sipped slowly and politely, pinky up and joined by a tray full of accoutrements floral napkins and china milk jugs. Or perhaps you might think about Lipton in a Styrofoam cup? But however you look at it, teas of all kinds like black, white, green, yellow and oolong all come from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. Depending upon the processing involved this determines which type of tea will result. Nowadays there are many varieties of teas, herbal and

Creating a Birth plan part 1 – Before we begin

stk95702cor

A birth plan is a list of preferences for your labor and birth, it gives you and your partner an opportunity to undertake a process of responsibility and manifestation of the ideal birth both for your child and for your family. It can become an act of ritual preparation as you may choose to set it alight on the full moon before your due date and open your heart spiritually to the power of your birth, you may chose for it to be a memo of understanding between yourself and your birth team. You may do both.. Discuss it with
